Car shuts off but turns back on.. HELP
I WARM UP MY CAR AND IS GOOD, ONCE I DRIVE AROUND AND CATCH A RED LIGHT, IT SHUTS OFF, BUT IT TURNS BACK ON AGAIN WITH OUT A PROBLEM, I CHANGE THE MAF SENSOR AND CLEANED THE BATTERY TERMINAL AND STILL SAME THING.. I GOT AUTOMATIC 1997 NISSAN MAXIMA THE CAR SHAKE JUST A LITTLE BEFORE TURNING OFF, AND WHILE IS ON IT FEEL LIKE IS GOING TO GIVE OUT, IT HAPPEN MOSTLY ON DRIVE BUT IT SHUT OFF ON ME 1's OR TIMES WHEN ON PARK, I JUST GOT A OIL CHANGE AS WELL.. PLEASE HELPPPPPPP...

Sounds like an idle issue since the car only does this when idling. My money is on base timing being off or IACV.
Bad MAF doesn't exhibit the kind of symptoms you described, neither does a bad battery terminal. Those two things you did will not hurt anyway, but no reason to throw money away.

Thanks alot guys
I went to the mechanic after he changed the mass airflow sensor because it was still doing it, and he replaced the crankshaft sensor and hardness, it was all replaced. Thank for all the help
