Anyone have experience with performance chips?

First and foremost I have done some searching and found mixed reviews does anyone have any concrete evidence or experiences with any of them and if they do improve MPG, HP, Torque, Performance can you guide me in the right direction to purchasing one? I currently drive a 1996 Infiniti I30.

You did not search very well.

There are countless threads where most of us have a good laugh at someone that has purchased a chip.

They do nothing!!!!

JWT, Nistune, etc, is what you want if you have the extra money.

At least the OP's thread title was really good this time...

Besides searching, I believe it's also stated in the Stickies.

Besides JWT and Nistune, there is always the Greddy Emanage Ultimate route.
