I got a 99 se and my fog lights were not working and was set on the stalk for fogs which drain the battery ok ... So i checked things out and found that the blubs were shot , so i replaced them with new ones which are stock...So my question is could i leave it in position for the fogs to turn on with the lights with out draining the battery ? or should i turn them off too with lights ? or just leave them on the on position on the stalk will it drain the battery ?

 

Light switch controls the fogs, so headlights off=fogs off.

Unless your fog lights stay on when your car is off and your headlight switch is off, your fine leaving the fog switch in the on position.

 

If the car is all stock you should be fine. I re-wired the fogs on my 98 and I could leave them on without any other lights being on.
