3.5 swap question

3.5 swap question
ok to start off I been bs about doing the 3.5 swap into my 5 speed 4th gen. I have read over the swap about a million and 1 times. I bought and integra and turboed that over the summer so I have been pushing it off soooo today I started to swap the timing. I happen to have an extra 3.0 here so im going to do the timing swap in my shed then swap the motor in one day so I don't have to rush. soo my question is witch I will do more research on but to pick some minds is I have an 05 3.5 motor and on the top it has the variable cam timing do they get wired in somewhere? the stock 3.0 don't have it. what I though as a lot of people do lsv swap in the Honda world couldn't I just wire the variable timing components to come on at a certain rpm. (they do wire it to a shift light so when you set the light lets say to 5rpms the light will come on. so what they do is wire the light to the varivle timing compont to come on at 5rpm instead of the shift light.) would that work?

Yea I wondered same thing like can I control the vct with a remote switch or like with say emanage ultimate like maybe using the one wire that you can activate the 00vi solenoid (if doing the 00vi swap) but I think I remember somewhere I read that it won't work for some reason.

The timing chain adapters that you will use prevent vvt from working, they are like 95naSTA said "static." While doing the swap take a look at the little adapter rings and you will see where the peg moves to adapt to the 3.5 engine. Now if you are concerned with your lack of vvt, get some big boy cams and then you wont have to worry at all...
but as a general rule those cams are quite

yea I thought op was suggesting just throwing in the whole unmodded 3.5, but now I remember another reason why this won't work, the cam sensor on the 3.0 timing cover isn't on the 3.5 timing cover, and the vtc gears don't have the same magnetic triggers either!!!
