Stage 3 Turbo

does anyone know how well a stock maxima engnie would hold a turbo, or would it ruin the pistons and crap too quickly?

I believe the turbo would be held by nuts and bolts.

Nice answers guys,

But on a more serious note. Do a search on turbo and you'll find most info you need or speak with turbomax95, he has one.

I was told that i would be fine until i rebuilt the engine at 7 psi, but anything higher it would start to eat my clutch and crap....this true?

Don't believe everything you hear. Since there are probably 5 or less turbocharged maximas in the united states, I'm welling to bet whoever gave you your information doesn't have a clue what they are talking about.

guys with superchargers run around 11 lbs of boost (some) , and they dont have any problems, i dont see why 7 lbs of boost would be a problem , unless there is some sort of difference between the air from a charger and the air from a turbo (theres not)

Many people have superchargers that run around 7 PSI or more, and they have stock engine internals. Your clutch would slip with 2 PSI nevermind 7. If you install any kind of majore power adders, you will need a new clutch. The stock one just doesn't hold up to the beating.

EVERYTHING you need to know can be found with the search feature.
