Positive battery terminal replacement

It's about to break and it's hanging on. Would like to simplify it and get rid of that larger red plastic connector. Is it possible? Looked it up but haven't seen instructions or how to's for it any help is greatly appreciated!

I think that in order to replace the terminal you have to replace the whole wire from the battery to the starter. Or you could cut out the terminal and get a new one from auto parts store. Not sure if that helps you though.

You can cut the terminal off and get a Stinger Audio type battery cable terminal. Walmart and ebay sell them and their knock offs.
