Replacing radiator fan..
Hello all..
I got into a front end accident a week ago, spun out around a curve.. car still drives fine like before but the hood is crumpled, rad support is pushed in and driver fender is done too.
So.. among other things like rad support, hood latch, hood, fender and such... looks like i'll need to replace the rad fan and came across this
"rapid cool fan"
Amazon website says it would fit, just making sure.
Any input would be appreciated..

That fan is most likely a single speed fan, where the stock Nissan fans are dual speed. Just make sure you wire it to the low speed wires (pins 1 and 3 in the above post.)
While the fan may spin faster and could theoretically keep the engine cooler, it won't. The ECU maintains the coolant temperature in a certain range, usually between 190º and 200º F. The ECU will turn on the fan and turn it off as needed.
The standard Nissan fans do just fine for cooling, so if that Amazon fan can move the same CFM of air, you won't have any problems.
