Custom y-pipe or Warpspeed ypipe? Dual exhaust?

So I'm wondering would going to a custom exhaust shop locally to make a ypipe be cheaper and meet or exceed the gains of a warpspeed ypipe? Or would ordering from warpspeed just be better option?? Was just wondering if anyone has went this route?

Also has anyone done duel exhaust on a 4thgen? Any pics ?

Warpspeed would be way cheaper than a custom one

I went with dual but its what you would call open as both pipes end at the tunnel right at the firewall unmuffled. I know you wouldn't do that for a street car and it would be kind of difficult to fit two pipes in the tunnel all the way back and keep them from rattling so just increase the size and go single at that point and you should be good. It was night and day different from the choked stocker.

"Question?" is not a valid thread title... Imagine if you did a search and every thread title was this vague... Thread title revised.

This guy in nj actually right next to where I live had dual exhaust from the headers back. There are pics but you can use google. I have bought three warpspeed y-pipes so far. '94 vg fully loaded miss that car esp the blue mirrors and key pad, '99se cali spec auto with sri magnaflow hi-flo cat with apexi ws ca-back with additional resonator, and now '97 se 5spd fed spec with that apexi and sri swapped over too. I also have a '97 gle but thats got cattman headers, fastcat, and going to have a 3" cat-back; but thats the beast.

if you searched more often, you'd find many answers on all the other threads you've started as well.
