Does 4th gen have PS high pressure hose mid-bracket like 5th gen??
Hey fellas!!
Does the 4th gen PS high pressure hose have a bracket midway between banjo bolts like the 5th gen?
I ask because when I searched, all procedures for installation were for the 5th gen and everyone talks about how much of a pain in the a** it is. I just wanted to be ready for any "problems".
But I have a '96 and upon a quick glance under the hood, there does NOT seem to be a bracket. Also when I ordered the aftermarket part, (Edelmen from rockauto), there was no bracket included. But the pics for 5th gens, did indeed show a bracket on rockauto.
It seems like all I have to deal with are 2 banjo bolts, correct? I'm planning on using a impact wrench in top banjo, and breaker bar for bottom banjo since there's no clearance for the impact wrench. Obviously starting bottom to drain the fluid and work to the top.
Any other tips would be greatly appreciated for a 4th gen please, since FSM had no info on 4th gen PS hose, search didn't pull any hits for 4th gen PS hose, and Haynes manual didn't mention anything.
Thanks in advance!!

Thanks guys!
Also, is it ok to use an impact wrench to take the banjo bolts out??? I have room to take the top one out but not the bottom at ps pump.
Please let me know!! Thanks again
