When i go over a bump or dip in the road only when the wheels are not straight so if im turning or even if the wheel is turned a little no matter what speed. I get a rubbery thump sound. I have new tirods inner and outer. New axles on both sides, new sway bar links and bushings, new struts(mounts springs bearings.. Everything) new control arms, new wheel bearings... What am i missing! Again only makes the sound when i go over a bump and the wheel is not straight. If i go over a bump and the wheel is straight there is no sound to be heard thanks for any help its driving me nuts.. All the money ive put in this max lol

Rack n pinion or maybe faulty parts .. But it sounds to me as if u have bushing problems

Re-check the torque on all of your connections, tie rod ends, ball joints, stabilizer bar end links and look at the bushings as well while your their.

It's best to check the easy/cheap to fix items first and take them out of the equation.

Also look at your exhaust. I was convinced something was seriously screwed up with my car and after a long search and even replacing a few items that were questionable it turned out that my exhaust would bang under side loading when taking a left turn, always made a solid thunk that didn't sound like a pipe banging the undercarriage but more like a bang in the front of the car....crazy.

Havent fixed anything else yet... I put on my 18" summer wheels and the sound seems to have stopped ? Strangest thing when it was happening i was on 16" beater winter wheels. Also i had a banging sound from front over bumps. It was my hood banging up and down cause the rubber stopper was missing. I took some 1/4 inch fuel line cut it wrapped it around the culprit and fixed... Havent heard that rubbery thump since my wheels went on. Strange
