I know you guys have an in depth section covering check engine light codes, but after decoding mine, i am still confused on what my code is...

there were 4 total light blinkings going on; 1 long, 3 short, 3 long, and 4 short.

what does this mean??!! please heeeeellllllpppppppp!!!!!!!!!

 

The trouble codes are 4 digit numbers. The long pulses represent the first two digits and the short pulses the last two digits.

Note: If there is more than one error code, they will be displayed in sequence.

FOR EXAMPLE:

(LONG PULSE) (LONG PULSE) (LONG PULSE) (SHORT PULSE)(SHORT PULSE)
....means trouble code 03 02

ANOTHER EXAMPLE:

(LONG PULSE)(SHORT PULSE)(SHORT PULSE)(LONG PULSE) (LONG PULSE)(SHORT PULSE)
...means you have TWO trouble codes: 01 02 and 02 01




Well from the Decoder it looks like
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor - 0103
and
Knock Sensor - 0304

assuming you reported the correct # of flashes.

 

thanx dude. that's what i got too, but i really needed a second oppinion before i pulled the sensors and checked em. guess i'll go freeze my nudz off and do that today...gotta change my oil anyway.
