Dogbone?

SOOOOOOO...... I go do this lame *** Maryland inspection and I'm told that my "rear dogbone bushings" are torn. Im pretty sure its not a dogbone motor mount because he said the motor mounts were new. when I asked him what a dogbone is he said he didn't know what else its called that they just call it a dogbone because it looks like one. Does anyone know what the hell he's talking about?

wow..

it's called a lateral link.

here's a link for a picture so you can see why it's referred to as a "dog bone"

That's crazy that inspection in your state looks at that stuff.

Gonna have to agree with Climaxx, although maybe there is a slight chance he was looking at the cross member bushings? The cross member itself looks somewhat like a dog bone.
