Wrong FPR?

I just picked up a new FPR for my 96 (CA spec). The one I have now has the vacuum nipple pointing straight down. The new one has it at a right angle, pointing towards the left fender. I think I can make the vacuum line stretch to connect to it, but I don't want to put on the wrong part and then have some mysterious performance issues because they're calibrated differently. Is there any reason to think they might be different, other than just cosmetically?

Cosmetic only. I have an aftermarket FPR in my car too. Like you I had to re-orient the vacuum line. Works fine.

Got it from Autozone.

Thanks, dwapenyi, that's what I wanted to hear.
