Clicked over 300,000 miles today

Today I hit 300K in the 96 Max. Its been on a diet of 5W30 Supertech (Wal*Mart) oil at 4K changes Since I bought it 4-5 years ago.

The front mount is still too spongy. I pushed a pick into it and the caulk is still wet in the middle. I have them in the floor board cooking in the sun.

Maybe, for those of us who might do this in the future, the mount shouldn't be filled all in one go. Fill it halfway, wait a week, then fill it to the top.

Still runs awesome on the original engine and transmission. I plan to achieve 4 or 500K.

You make me jealous, if I still had my 97 SE it would probably have 240k on it. I'm gonna see how long I can keep my current Max on the road, my all time mileage record is 189k miles in my 1990 Saab 9000S. Keep it on the road man.

I'll be dead twice before I hit 300,000 miles on my 95SE, given it has only got 98,100 miles on it now.

Very nice. I am at 338,600 miles now with original engine and tranny. Last major thing was replacing all the fuel injectors with new OEM ones. They started falling like flies..

Nice! My 4th gen had a little over 235k miles when it was fatally injured. Guy crashed into it while it was parked on the street....he was reaching for his cell phone.
