Any pics of this? Which wheels do you have and are they staggered and if so, do you have the wider ones up front?

Maybe you need negative camber up front?

you've got wheels that are an inappropriate width and offset combo for your car bud.

When you lower the car the wheels come in a bit. My experience with G/Z wheels is they rub upfront if you run anything larger than a 235, The rear fenders MUST be rolled otherwise that sharp fender will chew your tires up fast.

sure seems that way to me. did he have a lot of negative front camber? you drop the car and the top of the front wheels are going to camber in a bit. they won't stay vertical.

Agreed. Something isn't adding up here.

I have G35c rims on my Max and they fit great. I only rolled my fenders for peace of mind, didn't really have to though.

No, pull all wheels make sure there not staggered. I've never seen this happen and I've had all kind of wheels on my car. Hell, this is a good thing actually. Smaller tire, rear spacers and drop, your set...

My fronts stick out more than the rear. They are not staggered, all four are 17X8" with 235/45ZR17.

based on what I am reading and seeing it seems that way. Measure how far they sick out and then pull your rotors and measure the rotor hub depth and thickness. Ill bet your tire measurement and the difference in factory vs your rotor thickness are a close value. Although they seem to be sticking out quite a bit, you are positive the offset is the same for all 4?

It can't be the rotor(s) guys...Think about it...

I have a feeling the wheels are really staggered. Have you confirmed the offsets? They're stamped on the inside of one of the legs.

Which G35 wheels are they?

If you want to run a spacer, break out a ruler and measure how much you'll need then convert. 1" = 25mm.

Okay so im thinking possibly my rotors could be causing this ?? The outer part of the rotor the part the part the wheel touches on the oe maxima rotors is 280mm and the rotors i have the outer diameter is 295.5mm can this be my cause??

No that's the width of the disc itself. See the pic below? The measurements you gave are A. The problem seems to be C, the thickness of the hub;

No.

How thick is the center section of the rotor- the part where the wheel studs go through? factory rotor thickness is roughly 1/4" there. to cause this problem, those aftermarket rotors would have to be an inch thick there, and I guarantee you they are not.

Rotors will not do this, they sit flush with the hub, it they were too wide for car, they would hit brackets among other things...Need to do more homework on your wheels, seems like just a fitment issue. show full pics of the wheels front and back, with numbers...

PLEASE listen to the multiple requests you've gotten to LOOK and VERIFY and give PICS of said wheels. Wheel info / specs / tire size also.

Also something to consider...the rears in the 4th gen are about 10mm further "inward" than the fronts... so the disparity could be somewhat attributable to that fact.

This is incorrect, it's not "C" it's actually the width of the front face plate of the rotor, where the studs go through. That's what sits against the hub. Think about where a spacer sits. There's no way the rotor is re-positioning your wheels, unless the rotor has a built in spacer. If that were the case you'd notice it by the length (or lack there of) of the studs threads, and it would be a pretty big heavy face on that rotor.

C - Positions the braking surface area properly between the pads on the caliper.

You have the incorrect wheel offset, (or a spacer your not seeing) that's what's throwing them out, nothing else.

I've seen an offset number stamped/molded in the inside of my Infiniti/Maxima wheels (on a spoke) to show the wheel width and offset. For example I have some Infiniti wheels that are 18/7.5/35 (for 35 MM Offset)

Can you show the numbers from inside the wheel?

THIS. If you want an even look you need spacers in the rear.

If you lower it, the wheel should move inward clearing the fender.

Stock difference is 10mm so 10mm in the rear will make it even with each other, assuming the offset is the same.
