the battery check light is on always, and goes off when i turn the key to ON position. I mean it's just the opposite of what's supposed to happen!!
I got a new battery on sunday, but the problem remains...
Is there any relay controlling this???

Is the light on when the car is off? If it's on while the car is running, your altanator is bad.

 

The light is on only when the car is off. The car behaves normally when its running...
