iacv clicking while idling

iacv clicking while idling

The iacv on my 97 is clicking while idling, i remember a thread about this once but do i need a new iacv or is it something else, I might not bother with it since Im planning a de-k swap in a couple of months... Thanks for any info

Mine does the same and its normal. My car is 97 maxima se theres nothin to worry about. Just make sure iacv screw is adjusted correcty and its in the right poistion and it should look like the black plastic screw in the pic.

Mine does the same. Not sure what it's doing that makes the clicking noise, but as long as it works I don't ask questions.

This means your car is in diagnostics mode. Make sure the screw you check codes with is turned all the way to the left.
