need help on no start
need help on no start
To begin with I did a bunch of reasearch on this and nothing seems to be leading to my issue
Okay so it's 95 5 speed
Car was back firing checked it out and turns out one of my injector was stuck open replaced all of them. Also needed it some coils have been order bt car stop running before they even got installed
So car ran fine with new injector just missing because of two weak coils bt what I did notice on cold starts it was take longer to start and when it did it was missing like he'll bt couple seconds after u bringing Rpms up it would run normal
This went on for like a week finally I was leaving work when car would would start but not stay running then finally and stayed running drove it home and wmdrove fine no lack of power or anything like that check engine had been on for primary ignition code I believed it was y weak coils bt got it home parked and next morning went to start it and it would just crank a nice crank no binding or slow .
I could smell fuel out tail pipe and hear my fuel pump . To make sure I did compression test on one of cylinders and it was good the spark plug that came out was covered in fuel grabbed y coil and with someone cranking the car got grounded it to see a spark and there was nothing

So then I checked for battery voltage at coils and all have 12v
Next I proceeded to check cam sensor ohm it out and was not out of limit still need exact specs ??
Also cleaned it. Try to start no change . Then pulled my crank position sensor by tranny and cleaned it . When installed back and car would crank but now every now and then you can hear it tryin to start a lilttle it wasnt a just crank and no explosions.
So sure enough looked up specs on testing it. Here are some questions to start getting a feel for your Max and the issue.
How many miles does you max have on the odometer?
How long have you owned your Max?
Where did you purchased the new injectors?
Who installed the new injectors?
Have any other parts been replaced since you owned your Max?
Did you see a Check Engine Light (CEL) before the no start issue happened?
Where are you located?

Pull out a spark plug and plug it in coil, have a friend crank it and check if there's a spark. Also test the injectors, they're new but who knows. Get a tester from autozone (little bulb with 2 pins) check if injectors are getting a spark. Also get a gas pressure gauge and check your gas pressure from the in-line before it enters the manifold. It should be around 45- 60 psi, anything less than that, car won't start, or will start and stall (fuel pump or filter). If pressure is ok, pull out the injectors and crank it, check if they spray.
Since you're saying that cam sensors are good, crankshaft sensor good, then only things left was what I mentioned...oh, also check the coil module, clean your maf sensor. Idk if you have electric throttle or cable. If electric, check the harness, 1 wire short, car won't start. Had a previous problem like that. Good luck
