Transmission Help!!!

My friend finally decided to fix his tranny problem he was having. So, we dropped the tranny...and took it apart no problem. What was going on was that the synchro was went on second gear. So, were getting a nice ***** sound when shifting into second. So we replaced that and it moved wonderfully then...because the synchro kit comes with all the synchros we decided to do the others now. That we have done the other side it won't shift into forth and fifth nicely. With a lot of force we can get it to move so...what the heck would be causeing the problem it seems like it is hanging on something but I don't see anything in the teeth of the gears...Any ideas??? Maybe take the piece to a tranny shop and they could help...Do you recommend taking that side apart again and then put it back together see if that fixes it??? Any ideas. T

Thanks for any help.

Well, we haven't put the case back on we were just trying to get move it back and forth between gears with our hands...but we put some transmission fluid on it...and that helped it move a little more better back and forth so were going to put the case together and see if we can move it easy with the forks on and stuff.

Thanks for the input.
