P1130 Fix question

I know what this code is for, and ways to fix it, but I dont have the air tank the system needs, it was taken off supposedly for the SC and 00VI swap, but i want the code gone, so my question is is this air tank a necessity or can the port from the sensor just be capped off at the nipple?

bump this up, fixed issue, upper most nipple on solenoid is just a vacuum dump and doesnt need to be connected, and i had vacuum going to this port, bottom most need manifold vacuum and middle port goes to valve.

finally this car has no check engine light, which ive owned it for 3 years, and never driven it with the light off.

well my issue may have been different, but I thought it was pretty straight forward as to what I said, but nevertheless I snapped a picture and will explain what was goin on with mine.

well since i have owned the vehicle (3 years) and as long as the guy before me owned this vehicle (about 5 years), this code along with P1105 map sensor solenoid malfunction, a front O2 sensor code bank 1 and a rear O2 sensor code bank 1 have been showing up, I found out there was no rear O2 sensor, fixed that. I also found out that the swirl control valve solenoid, and the map sensor solenoid were no even hooked up, and didnt have vacuum lines going to them.

I fixed the map sensor one and correcly hooked up the vacuum lines the way they are supposed to go, and thought I hooked up the Swirl control valve solenoid correctly, but i didnt.

here is the correct way to hook up the swirl control valve

as you can see the metal nipple which is supposed to be the top of the solenoid is just a vent, does not need to be hooked up, the very bottom port needs manifold vacuum (a source of vacuum behind the throttle body), and the middle port needs to go to the Swirl Control valve.

If anyone has this code, make sure your solenoid is good, and there are no broken vacuum lines (look closely!) you may miss a small crack in a vacuum line which would cause the Swirl valve not to function, or you may also have a bad swirl control valve assembly, ECM, or damaged wiring.

the last 3 are not as common so I wouldnt start with those.
