trouble at start up
trouble at start up
i have been getting wired noises at start up every morning for a while and today i went to start it up and it was going so i tried again and then i gave some gas and it finally started.......any ideas?
Re: trouble at start up
weird noises .. very vague.
Dunno if it's the starter going out?
(donkey whine sound for about 1/2 second after you turn the key because the starter keeps going even though you've released the key)
or if you've got other problems? Might help if you describe the problem a bit more in detail.

My starter made that noise, usually only in cold weather, and I finally had to have it replaced.
The Other problem I have had is that the car would start and just die like it was not getting fuel or air. I cleaned the throttle body and that made a world of difference in performance and have not had the starting problem again.
