Bigger injectors

I'm looking to install some bigger injectors into my 4th gen. I'm just not sure on what else goes along with that. Would I need to get a new fuel regulator to compensate for the bigger injectors or anything else that will regulate the fuel flow? Any feedback is appreciated!

OK, so you want to squirt more fuel in there....... what will that do? Make a richer mixture, not add more power. Unless you add more air. Turbo plans?

What are you hoping to gain by doing this? Just curious.

That makes sense. I was told that bigger injectors would add small scale power and general efficiency but I was worried about flooding the engine, hence wondering what else would go with the larger ones. My buddy swapped out his engine from his 300zx so I was thinking the ones from his vg motor. It seems to make much more sense to hold off on it until I get some more serious power upgrades though.

The only person I know who moved up to larger CC injectors without a Turbo or SC did it on a VH45DE in order to run E-85.

He lives in So Cal and apparently has easy access to E-85 and does a lot of Gymkhana driving. Also, I think he has ECUTalk handheld and can tune mixtures on the fly.

I went from 270cc to 326cc injectors on a Mitsubishi along with a 10% larger throttle body and no other mods except msd ignition. Worked well for me but it was strictly an offroad racecar.

I'm glad you've come to your senses...Now you get to save your $$ for those "serious power upgrades".

GTR injectors or svt cobra injectors with '00-'01 intake maniold. Check the forced induction classifieds. There was a turbo kit for sale.

Oh geeez

These guys lol. If he wants to go little let him go little.....Dude no matter what injectors you put the ecu is gonna push the stock amount of fuel. An performance ecu will support any upgrade it will even have hp gains with no upgrades at all. You will not run richer with bigger injectors that might be true for a lot of cars but I put gtr injectors in my 99 maxim and after about ten miles it leaned out. No cel. No other upgrades and it runs much better. Injectors have a range and the ecu tells the injectors what it needs. On the live data you can see the pulse and duration is shorter than the stock injectors......

You do realize that you are giving advice to a member who asked the question in 2014, right? And your statement "no matter what injectors you put the ecu is gonna push the stock amount of fuel" couldn't be any further from the truth and is misleading. You should stop now before you dig a bigger hole.
