What valve connects to the Evap / Vapor Canister Vent Solenoid?

I was smelling gas and having a hard time filling up the tank, so I decided to replace the rectangular Evap Canister on my 1995 Maxima (CA-spec 5 Speed). When I removed the canister, the valve that the vent hose was attached to broke into pieces. Normally, one end of this hose goes to the Vent Solenoid, which mine surprisingly did not have, maybe because it is an early build (12/94).

What is the name / part # of the valve (red arrow)? I've looked through the forum, my Haynes manual and the FSM. I couldn't find anything other than this image on Fixya. In the answer given, it says to "pinch the fresh air vent hose", but searching for a "vent valve" didn't yield any results either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The 99 model year FSM calls it a water separator.

Evap Water Separator

Hi JSutter, greatly appreciate the reply. The part you mentioned looks to be correct, according to Service Bulletin NT800-085a (Figure 1 below). Searching Google for variants of "evap water separator" does not seem to bring back any relevant results for any year Maxima. Curious if you (or anyone) might know that part number. Thanks.

Quick follow-up. After much searching online, I decided to stop by my local Nissan dealership here in OKC. The parts manager was very helpful and even had a mechanic take a look under the car. They both agreed that the part I needed was the breather valve in the first diagram. That part number is 17368-40U10, but it is no longer available, so I will have to improvise a solution. The evap water separator shown in Service Bulletin NT800-085a did not come up in any parts or service database.
