Thoughts on a JDM rear fog light (pics)

I am still a Honda fanatic (crack jokes all you want ) and have seen some shots of JDM rear fogs on civics. I like the look of them. So I wanted to be a little different.
It came to my mind and figured how it would look on a Maxima. I doubt it's been done on a car like this before, besides doing a re-wire for a taillight one.
Not a big fan of that look. Here are some photoshop examples. Opinions? Why not have some input. (This is my Max)

Nope. Thought about putting a triangle shaped one on my rear diffuser but changed my mind.

The euro rear fog is usually part of the rear tail light assy.

I saw the triangle ones on eBay, I might grab one. Some sellers have it for cheap. So this way I wouldn't have to think about ruining the bumper.

It's going to look kind of silly IMO on your Max since you don't have the 'look' that goes with it. I have one on my lowered black Max with a mean CF diffuser. It looks ok.

I thought about doing the JDM fog light years ago, but opted against it. Thanks for the Photoshop though, it confirms my original decision.

I don't like the look of it being on the one side. It messes up the symmetry.

Agreed. When I thought about doing it, I was gonna do one red and one clear like the GTR.... then make my turn signals the entire bottom (both lenses) and even go for the sequential look...

Actually it doesn't look too bad but it is a tad out of place.

Here's a cleaner idea, use your left inner tail as fog like the Euro style...

Option 1: drill and glue a separate light sock mount to the inner tail so you can toggle the fog light to operate independently with the regular brake light.

Option 2: tap the current inner brake light to operate 100% (don't think you can toggle this but it should be easier)

That skyline is much sex. I figured the photoshop would help make a final decision, but yes you are correct on not having that right look for it. I feel as if people would say your tail light is broken if I had the inner fog light on. Some have had 2 rear fogs on the bumper but I thought that seemed too much. Usually looks best with square bumpers.

Pics? I seriously contemplated it as a rear fog light and third brake light when not on.
