lower ball joint touching drive axle
#4
The knuckle is what the ball joint bolts to.
I haven't heard of this problem, so I'm just making a guess.
The balljoint shouldn't be able to thread enough to touch the axle..that's the only thing I can picture being the problem at the moment.
I'm very curious to see what the answer ends up being here.

the thing that holds the brake disc, and the whole 9 yard, that thing is way to thick for anything to bend it, but I'm pretty sure if it was bend to that degree I would have notice it, I will however take a better look to see if it's bend those, and if so I'm going hammer

Does the balljoint have it's Circlip/snapring installed? The only thing going on here is the lower balljoint in moving upward out of the LCA cause either the snapring wasn't installed properly or wasn't installed at all!

I thought that was the case too, but when I put a new one on it the same thing happen, I had to cut the bolt, the ring was on the old out, and is on the new one, plus the ball joint can't get pushed up to the point where it's out of place because it's installed in an upward fashion
