I have read through a lot of threads about bad IPS bearing and the noise it makes. A couple of days ago my car started making a sound like a piece if metal was tumbling in the engine. I then noticed the noise occured when the car was in gear especially if I moved the shifter a little while in gear and driving. This is not a "whirring" noise, this is a metal noise. Any other guesses before I try to pull the transmission this weekend?
