Air Mix Door Motor No Longer Available From Dealer? UPDATE: Thanks lux97Max

In my continuing quest to fix my always hot climate control, I was going to buy a new air mix door motor (part number 27732-40U01). I tried two dealers in the Fort Worth, TX area and they said they can no longer order that part.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there a different source for this part or a different part number that would work?

I saw online that 27732-2L901 might work but it's a special order part which means I have to pay before the order is placed.

Thanks again for everyone's help.

Get on the phone and start calling. Hopefully, you'll stumble on a dealer/place that still has one in stock. This way you'll start new. Shipping will be worth the price from wherever you have to buy in the USA.

In the Metro NYC area, it seems like 90% of all of the 4th gen Maximas were sold here.

I'd bet there's a website that is a portal to what's in stock (used through salvage places) for most of the metro area. That would be my next shot. Or in TX, if a lot were sold there as well! Most salvage places are online and everybody can see what's where. You just have to find the website portal for a specific geographic perimeter.

Good luck! Heat in TX past March can be deadly! LOL OUCH!

Another member was recently searching for that discontinued part

https://maxima.org/forums/4th-genera...-air-only.html

They had a dealership use the Nissan Fast Network and it was not found in stock. Another member sold him the used part. I would post in classifieds or search a local JY for that actuator.

Take a look at all of the 4th gen Maxima entries in Tarrant County.. If that isn't enough just scroll down to the Dallas entries. You live in a great area for 4th gen salvage parts.

Happy, Happy, Happy!

A big thanks to lux97Max for getting me an air mix door motor for my car. I sent him a picture of my exact motor and he was able to find me one. I was dreading having to go hit the pick-n-pull as CS_AR suggested but lux97Max bailed me out.
