My car needs one. The ones on eBay are pretty cheap compared to autozone.

I wouldn't trust ebay or autozone, especially when you're talking cheap.
I'm saying this assuming you're wanting to keep your car for awhile and trouble free.

Either rebuild your rack or see if you can find one in the yard.
'99 is said to be a good year with a tighter rack that's preferred over the 95-98, but all will work.

Don't forget to replace your two rack bushings while your in there.

eBay is an online store, who's the manufacturer of the rack?

Yes I'd trust ebay, a purchase through them is 100% guaranteed.
The question here is would you use a rack manufactured by "X" company?

Plus one you can find oem parts on eBay. There are plenty of mom and pop oem suppliers on eBay that offer oem parts with very good prices and service.

I just replaced the rack on my 97 with one from Ebay. The seller is Detroit Motors I believe. No core and $134 out the door free shipping. It comes with a lifetime warranty....just have to send my old one back to activate it. Good luck....it took us 14 hours to replace lol

Your old one for the warranty?
That's a weird core charge.
