Anyone interested in another tuning solution? MegaSquirt MS3 Pro

I have been in contact with Matt Cramer from megasquirt about getting the VQ30 trigger pattern added to a default recognized pattern list for $500.
Now unlike in other threads that have been created about megasquirt this is NOT a plug and play type application and you will have to wire the MS3 pro.
Also the investment is far less then what it would be with the MS3 pro plug and play w/auto transmission option that has been discussed in the other threads and we will not have to get a vehicle to the folks at MS, instead work with them in recording the signal and testing the firmware.
A possible option for doing the wiring is their DIY breakout boards I dont have an A32/33 vq30 so I cant verify that they have the correct ECU connector but i believe the JAE 88 pin will work for us http://www.diyautotune.com/diybob/index.html

CLIFF NOTES:
MS3 pro wire in standalone ~$1200 http://www.diyautotune.com/ms3-pro.html
will not control a auto transmission out the box
$500 for the custom firmware
We will have to show a sales increase that will be worth them investing the time to add the code (hoping this thread will generate enough responses)
Work hand in hand with recording and testing the code
It will be the only US made aftermarket ECU that will be capable of running the VQ30 platform without custom chopper wheels and machining cam gears

quick run down on myself since i dont post here much
92 240sx, JDM vq30det, hx40 pro, DW 1000cc, precision 46mm WG, custom turbo manifolds looking to make ~500-550whp
I have had nistune before and is a great budget solution it does not satisfy motorsport needs. flex fuel, anti-lag, launch control, knock control, engine protecting, VE tuning, nitrous control and traction control. nistune has a couple of these features but the last time i check are not yet coded for the VQ30 and may be a while before they are supported since nistune is pretty much ran by 1 person

I have notified Matt of this thread and if there is any bad info he can chime in and correct them.

There are atleast 5 people running nistune now including myself, we just got Nistune like end of last year. So its catching up but i posted in your other thread.

I think you should definitely go forward with Megasquirt. Much better for you and your goals vs Nistune.

Yea nistune does great for what it is but just doesnt fit into my build.
If this thread gains interest or not im still going to go with a full standalone and i am making a custom 36-1 chopper wheel being made to bolt on the crank pulley
