Will a 3" K&N universal filter fit the max's air intake? What kind of mod is necessary to do this? How long a filter can I get 6", 9", 12" Anyone try this? I'd rather not waste my $$ on a complete kit when the filter is the important part. I did this on my old 300ZX and all I needed to do was remove the resonator box and get a hose clamp.
