anybody know what this hose is

So I see smoke/steam coming from my hood. I pop the hood and see this hose leaking. I believe its one of the heater core hoses.

Based on the protective jacket, it looks like a heater core supply hose. The larger open pipes in the picture below are for heater hoses.

Its one of the heater hoses. If you are going to replace the hose, I think the IM has to come off. If just the end of the hose is bad, there might be some enough slack to trim the end and stretch it to reach.

Comes to find out there are 2 hoses that go to the heater core/fire wall side.

I was able to trim the hose and stretch it to fit, there was a pin hole near the end of the hose.

Also the intake manifold does not have to come off.

I just need part numbers now.

Mine wasn't that bad. It wasn't until I actually saw it squirt out that I noticed where it was coming from.

I'm looking on anything Nissan and can not find the hose

It don't think you need a specific hose. You can just go to an auto parts store with a sample off your car and have them cut you whatever length you want. I believe it is 5/8" heater hose ...not positive on the size though. Could be 3/4".

Just my opinion but i would get the correct molded hose because there are sharp bends and you don't want the hose kinked blocking coolant flow.

^^^agreed i looked at the same hose you have pictured and it looks like the hose has shrunk and is leaking a little down the metal pipe it's connected to. it's the long one that goes all the way behind the block, anyone know what the part # is and what heater hose that is? thanks
