Front Bumper OEM?

I'm curious how much OEM bumpers would be as im doing the 97 swap.. I just need the front bumper left, Alredy have trunk/OEM rear bumper
, I only managed to find one on ebay, listed as 179$ + 118 shipping= 297$ total, is this too much for the bumper?

I was thinking about aftermarket but heard about fitment issues, paint cracking and so for...but heck $79 for the bumper is alot better, my paint is pearl white so i want it to look good.

And the OEM bumper has paint cracks all over it but that doesn't matter cause im getting it repainted., don't know how much physical damage it has, but it does have pictures of it.. let me know what u think if it would be a smart purchase or not? he says a body shop could fix anything to make it primed, pretty much new again.?

also I will be buying and installing a Stillen front lip. but I already know its brand new when ya buy it.

I have a feeling you didn't spend much time searching. You can find a bumper cover for like 80 dollars with free shipping easily. & since you're getting it repainted my best advice would be to go to a local junkyard. I found this in 30 seconds: https://www.google.com/search?q=1997...13946288239812

I think that's too much money.
Go to the junkyard.

You're near Atlanta right? If yes there must be over 50 4th gen in junk yards near you.

I got my trunk and oem rear bumper for $250 plus a free grille, that's a sweet deal I got from the junkyard, and that was the only 4th gen maxima in that junkyard, it was a front ended 5 speed! Rare one heh, he probably was having a little too much fun with the 5 speed.

I'm in TX and the junkyards I have do not really have many 4th gen maximas :/ I went to 3-4 different ones.. Only one had 1 4th gen max which is the one I was able to ****** rear end parts and a free grille

And only to find the front oem bumper for 297$ is alot for that part; plus me having to get it repainted is gonna be another $300 for pearl white soo..

Sounds like you're made of money.
That's big numbers just for a front bumper IMHO.

I would just be patient and keep an eye out for a white 97+ bumper or at least any other front OEM bumper...and I would probably paint it myself.
There is a company that makes a really good paint match for our cars, but the problem with painting is that new paint, although the same paint code, will look different than the rest of your car due to the age.

That's why I say wait it out.

Good luck with whatever you choose.

Yeah I would pay 30 dollars for a bumper at my junkyard.

considering that the previous 1 owner garaged the car its whole life, the pearl paint is still in really good condition, so painting it wise, it would nearly match, But can't say until I see what new pearl paint looks like.

Where in TX are you located? I know the yards in the DFW area have many Maximas.
