Door Removal Electrical

In removing (to replace) the rear (and Front) door of a 1997 Maxima, is there a plug and play electrical receptacle and if so, is it with the door or body? Any easy tips much appreciate...

The doors have a disconnectable wire harness. The connectors (plugs) are not in the door. The connectors are in the body. The front door harness has 2 connectors that are under the dash, probably behind the kick panel. The rear door harness has one connector that plugs into the main harness in the door pillar.

See pages 324 and 325 in the link below.

From experience the 97 and 98 wiring is plug and play. But the window controls have to switch over with the doors. The wiring is different at the windows switches, but the door plugs are the same. I swapped the front passenger and rear driver from a 98 to my 97.

IIRC I could pull the plugs out the door side once I got the doors free. Thee is a surprising amount of slack
