98 I30 manual F50V oil change. HELP
Hi
I have a 98 Infiniti I30T manual with a f50v transmition. As I know, it has a LSD. It has about 95k on it without an oil change. Now I`m not sure what oil to buy. GL4 or GL5? I think it should be GL5 75W90? How much do I need? Please help.

Hello,
Stores dont usually carry it, but maybe in your area they do, who knows. I had to order mine up on ebay the 5 bottle quantity. was $69 for it.
Redline MT90 GL-4 75w90 gear Oil for this transmission.
you can also get the amsoil one as well, different price.
Been running it for a good 5 years or so, transmission is fine.
I put around 4.4 liters of fluid.
The non lsd tranny is 4.5 liters
The GL5 gear oil is different and can ruin the gears and syncros. so stay away from that.
