Anyone have specific experience with aftermarket bumper conversion (95-96 to 97-99)

I know this is listed in search, but most of the topics don't cover my specific question. I'm wondering if anyone has bought an aftermarket 97-99 (read: Ebay) bumper cover for a 95-96 coversion? I'm a bit leery about fitment issues with aftermarket and was wondering if anyone has done it, and if it's bolt on? or if I'll need a body shop to do anything special to mount it? I need my bumper cover repainted and want to do the conversion in one whack. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I contemplated buying aftermarket but after thinking about it long and hard, I chickened out and went with genuine Nissan. I'm glad I did. I bought aftermarket headlights and wish I hadn't. It's not worth it. For $150, I'd stick with the real thing. Better safe than sorry.

Exactly the type of answer I was looking for Thanks Ptatohed.

Cumalot, I was wondering about people that bought aftermarket (espically from ebay)..and fitment with that. There is nothing the FAQ that deals directly with it, I know you can take a genuine nissan part (or a reputable aftermarket one) and have little to no fitment issues....thanks though
