My first Maxima

Hi I just bought a 1997 Maxima with 156k. It came from a auction so I dont know the condition fully but the body is good. What are some things I can do to keep it running for a long long time. The car came with a Greddy exhaust, bars connected to the front and rear struts, intake and a trunk full of parts. A apex computer, springs, other I guess important items for racing. What things should I change or replace first?

Congrats on the new car!! Sounds like it has some real potential with the upgraded parts - that is cool. If you want to keep it running for a long time just keep up with the maintenance. Regular oil changes and check ups are good. It is also good to get a good feel for your car. Figure out the condition of everything - tires, brakes, suspension bushings, radiator support, any leaks, etc. and decide what is going to need repaired now, what will need repaired soon, and what you want to modify . Make a list and go from there.
