I started a thread before but I deleted it out of frustration. My Maxima was stolen a week ago and now it's back home. Damn theives broke my ignition with a screwdriver, attempted and failed at stealing my HIDs and stereo, cracked my windshield, broke my passenger mirror, scraped the rear bumper, and painted my rims. And the bonus isssss the police caught them. Well that's not all, they were dealing drugs out of my car wtf. Pics later if I get a chance and if I know how. Best Memorial Day ever. Lol

Edit: oh yea I believe there was coke on the shifter lol

My car is not as nice as most of them I see here, but I still love my Maxima.

that mirror can easily be replaced for $10, happened to my driver side mirror when it fell off while driving one day, The bumper scratched a little.. aint too bad, Looks like you got big rims and is lowered, so that probably brought in a little attention but heck those thieves sound desperate... lucky they didn't damage the body too much, you know kick the front fender to make a dent.. or stuff like that.

It could have been worse. At least they found the dudes and car wasn't stripped.

What idiots though.

It could have been worse but I'm glad I got it back. I'm not letting it happen again though. Time for an aftermarket alarm with immobilizer. The factory alarm just doesnt cut it.

The bumper is ironic because I was already going to replace it; clear coat was peeling. I'm not even worried about the mirror. This will be my second windshield. Last time it costed $100 installed. I also have to get a new ignition lock and miscellaneous trim pieces. Oh and I have to fix my bixenon wiring harness, they just tore it out. And then I need to repaint my 18" rims. That's great though, I just got rid of my spare set.

Kill switch once you learn the electrical system. It saved my car from going bye bye. I heard my car cranking but by the time Mr Smith and Wesson made it outside they had already took off.

Glad to hear you got it back. I live in OC also. I had my Camry stolen and abused 3 times. I got it back all 3 times but finally gave it to someone that needed a car. I was tired of finding it gone in the morning, so I got an I30. So far, no one has touched it. I'm surprised they caught them. The cops really didn't care in my cases, though the scums left personal items in the car with their address on them. I guess they were too busy munching donuts.
