still have a p0300 code! help save my max

Hi I'm new to the forum and saw plenty of great answers on the p0300 code for my 4th gen 1999 maxi. I figured out it was cylinder #2 that was acting up. the ignition coil was dead so I replaced it with an aftermarket coil from my local autozone. After that I saw that just on cylinder #2 the sparkplug had horrible carbon fouling on it so I replaced all 6. Still didn't fix my issue The engine idled rough and the exhaust as you can imagine smelled of raw fuel. I took off the coil and spark plug for cylinder 2 and shined a flashlight inside. I saw petrol and a tone of gunk, probably a mix of carbon and gasoline. bot the other cylinders were decently clean. Im stuck at this point and have invested close to 150 just on the plugs and coil. help!?
