i think my water pump is bad but I'm not sure how to properly troubleshoot the problem. I keep losing antifreeze, I mean like every couple days, weird thing is there aren't any noticeable leaks anywhere, and my car never overheats, however I did notice right around the housing of the pump it seems like it could be leaking from there

 

When the water pump starts to go it begins seeping just like what you suspect. Watch that area closely for a couple more days.

 

Put a pan or anything that will noticeably catch fluids under your compressor, you'll know overnight.

 

I think it is water pump seal. Its leacking to the chain housing . I think its not very bad leak.

 

Well it's definitely a bad leak because my anti freeze disappears with in days...but there's definitely water leaking under the car, a good amount...I figured it's condensation

 

if its water, its just from ur A/C, If u turn off the AUTO and switch to ECON, You will notice the water will stop dripping underneath cause the A/C is no longer on.. it gives whatever the temperature and condition it is outside when u use ECON.

 

make sure you are not leaking coolant from anywhere else, after i did my rear valve cover gasket, coolant was leaking from one of the rubber hoses underneath the intake manifold when the weather was hot, there are numerous other places for leaks also to check

 

And check around below the front of the TB. There are a couple of small water lines down there. I had a leak there a while ago.

 

Ok this might be a stupid question but I was just told not to fill the coolant reservoir because it's just for over flow. Is that true? Because if that's the case that's what I've been filling up and it disappears

 

Filling the reservoir is fine, but while I'm there I would check the coolant in the radiator too. When the car gets hot, the hot coolant gets pushed out of the radiator into the reservoir. When you shutoff the car and it starts to cool, the coolant in the reservoir gets slowly sucked back into the radiator. This back and forth dynamic goes on and on.
