300zx bbk question maxima rotors vs mustang cobra

I'm currently using a 300zx bbk that consists of the redrilled 13 inch mustang rotors, the situation is I need new rotors but if I get mustang rotors I'll need them redrilled which I can't get done so here's the question

Would it be ok to use 12.6 maxima rotors with this kit instead of the 13's? And have no issues, it's less than half of an inch it so it shouldn't really matter but still wanted to ask first thanks

Youll have a tad bit of overhang which will result in some funky pad wear but as far as i know itll work. Certainly not optimum but still better than stock. Best option short of getting new cobras would be to get the 12.6 bracket adapters.

Btw we should meet up next week for those damn cattmans :P Just swapped in a 95 harness + ecu so the cars ripped apart sitting pretty, just begging to have more crap bolted to it. Text me sometime and we'll get this over and done with finally lol.

what about the "offset" (hat height) of the 12.6" rotor vs the cobra rotor. when I pioneered the 13" cobra rotor one of the things that worked out well with the 3/8 steel plate i made the brackets out of was that 3/8" was just about exactly the difference in hat height between the stock 4th gen rotor and the cobra rotor. are the 12.6" nissan rotors the same hat height as stock rotors are? if they are, it's different than the cobra rotor by a significant margin. mustang cobra rotor would be "out towards the wheel" by about 3/8" more than the nissan rotor is.

if what i'm describing above is true, overcoming it could be simple or difficult depending on how your caliper brackets are designed.
