the y pipe and catback defintly compliment the CAI, revs are much faster now.... i got the budget y pipe and only had it on for a day, so i have no complaints, but i will keep an update on it, its nice how u hear the air going through it when ur rilly hittin it, nice mod...

can you trust meineke and shops like that to do this- they have the means to make it fit if it has probs but what do you think?

 

there is this place called redline exhaust near me. Through a friend of a friend i got a catback, mandrel bent, 2.5 inch diameter, with a choice of raven or ractive muffler for 325. It nices cuz they do they fit everything real nice and tight so u dont have to worry about fitment or stuff sticking out, he put my y pipe in for 50 bucks too. It sounds nice and looks good, i probably shouldve gotten a bigger tip but this looks pritty classy, ill try to get pics up, i duno bout those places, cuz of mandrel bending or not, but id recomend this place

 

Sweet! How's the noise? I know the y-pipe and greddy is often a little to noisy and resonancy (is that even a word?)

 

i duno its like the CAI, u can control the noise, i can make it drone if i want, shift into a lower gear (3/4/5) with pedal half down, or keep it in like 2nd or 3rd at like 3k on the tach to keep it silent, it sounds awesome on the low end though,
