Need info

Ok so unfortunately seems that my 95 maxima has a few problems first I went start my car it was cranking then everything went dead is jump the car and as soon as I detach the cables and step on the break the car cut off I was only able to drive the car with the booster connected. (Bought a new battery) not sure if that fixed it since I discount the battery when I turn the car off now. Now my new problem is I drove the car for maybe 2 hours then got home turned the car off then right back on then off and tried to turn it on again it cranked made a noise so I stopped then tired again no crank just 1 click all lights are on stayed on I kept the key turned nothing happened stopped popped the hood and saw smoke coming from back by the brake fluid so I'm guessing we're the starter what's the problem ? And I also have an electrical Issue maybe I just gotta replace my aftermark? Before I changed the battery my booster wouldn't get my car started and I was at a tire shop he had 1 of the big battery chargers he had it hooked up to my car all my lights lit up brighter then ever but wouldn't crank while trying to start smoke starter coming out of my radio (the face was off the radio ) now when I turn the radio to a certain level it cuts of and turns back on please help sorry for going all over and asking like 7 questions in 1 I just wanna get my baby started

I wish I could help. I can't follow what you are saying. Please use sentences, periods, and proper punctuation.

Dear op,

I found it difficult to understand what you typed in, but after reading it several times, here is what I think.

1 - At the tire shop, commercial jump starter machines use 24 volts, twice of what the car battery has. This is OK for short periods of time, but if connected for too long, electrical things will start to smoke. Most electrical parts of the car are built to take up to 18 volts before burning up and smoking.

2 - Some component in your radio couldn't take the high voltage. Too bad you didn't turn your radio off, because now you need a new radio.

3 - Your starter had a problem and trying to start it with 24 volts was too much for it. It also burned up and smoked. You need a new starter.

4 - As LuminousX said, the alternator probably went bad, which started your problems. Have it tested, but you probably need a new alternator.

5 - Since you have bought a new battery, that is probably OK.

Good Luck,
Dennis
