I did the fog light rewiring on my 1996 Infiniti I30. The cool thing about it is that since the install goes thru the relay, the fog switch on my turn signal stem still works!!! So now my fog lights work independantly from the headlights....and they stay on when I switch to highbeams.

A coulpe of notes that aren't in any online instructions for this mod...if you use wire taps, make sure to squeeze them with pliers REAL GOOD. Also there are two small holes under the lip of the relay box on the fender side. Use a small flat head to push these tabs in so you can seperate the two halves of the relay box.

Also make sure that you have the car and lights turned off before doing this mod. I also suggest removing the two bulbs from their harnesses in the parking light before doing any wire cutting.

Remember, this applys to I30s...not Maximas necessarily...although I'm sure it's all the same.
