Is it the old battery or parasitic draw that cause problem?
I have a 5 year old Kirkland car battery from Costco in my Maxima 98.
Recently, I noticed the car does not jump and the car electric is totally dead, so have used a battery jumper and drove 30-40 miles around to get the battery fully charged.
After driving, the battery voltage is 12.4V, but after a few days of non driving, the same problem occurs, the battery voltage goes down to 6-7V and a jumper is needed to start the car. So I drove again to get the battery fully charged, voltage is 12.4V. I have disconnected the cable on both battery terminals over night, checked next day, the voltage stays the same at 12.4V.
I did a parasitic draw test and there is 0.11A = 110mA on draw.
I know the lifespan of a battery is between 3-4 years.
My questions:
-Is that indicating of a bad battery that is about 5 year old?
-Is 0.11A draw normal for the maxima 98?
Thanks for any advice.

though your draw seems high, it shouldn't cause the car not to start after just 3 days (esp getting battery down to 6-7 volts). my guess/bet is the battery (esp if it has deep discharged before for they always seem to get flaky after such an event). when checking resting battery draw, did you wait for the car to go to "sleep" and either disconnect or depress the hood switch? I believe that max "normal" draw should be ~ .050 amps with ~ .030 being the average norm. fyi, mine oscillates between ~ .010 and .020 (the higher draw is when the alarm armed light goes on).

0.11 sounds high to me, I would say 0.05 or less amps is about normal.
Use your meter and start pulling fuses until the extra draw goes away. Then you know what circuit it's on. Then look at the wiring diagram in the FSM to see what could be the problem.
