Problems with springs w/o struts

I am going to be buying a new Max, and I would like to lower it, but I dont think I can afford to do springs and struts...What are the problems with lowering the car without struts ?? ( H&R springs )

What will happen is you go to the trouble($$) have it done once and then the new springs blow up your marginal stock shocks in short order. Then you get to pay someone more $ again to get new shocks put in.

Yep your better off saving up and buying everything at once. Then you dont have to worry about the what if's.

If your Max is brand new then stock shocks will be able to handle lowered ride for several thousand miles. The older your shocks are the faster they'll blow when used with lowering springs.
My advice, save some cash and get the whole combo at once.
