my uncle gave me his older valentine one model to use. even though its like five years old, its still a hell of a detector. anyways, he had it hard wired into his legend but left the cord in the car when he sold it. so what i have is the detector, the mount, and the end that plugs in the cigarette lighter. my question is what type of plug does it use to connect to the detector? the slot uses a regular telephone plug but is a six wire plug. i found a six wire modular cord at my store (Radio Crack) but don't know which of the six i should use to tie back into the cigarette lighter plug or even to hard wire into the max. at first i thought i should do postiive and negative, but what about the other four wires? should i just call up Valentine One?
