I was looking ofr some info on the Maxima's stereo, specifically installation info, but in the FAQ there is a blank entry.

I know the info is in the message archive, but I wonder why it still hasn't made it to the FAQ?

Because the only thing you'll ever hear are:

1) Bose headunits flickering/etc
2) Bulbs burnt out
3) WTB/FS
4) Pics of mp3 players
5) People putting in aftermarket headunits that come with installation instructions
6) Adding a 1-DIN indash changer to the stock non-Bose cassette (me me me)

Also, there's an Audio Forum specifically for questions like this. There are a few websites that show how to install the headunit in 4th gens.

Also, there is a S E A R C H option.
I've found it to be very useful.

what questions do u have exactly about maxima audio?? www.crutchfield.com has a lot of info about specific cars

 

I joined the forum on 8-22-2000 and checked the FAQ for this back then with no answer.. The "audio" section is still there but also still empty..

Specifically I wanted removal/installation instructions for the stereo and all speakers.. I found this of course...

Shoot if I have time I'll condense the archives on these issues and write some FAQs for that section...
