Upper radiator hose

My upper radiator hose is expanding/Boulding out. Is that because the hose is old and I need to replace it or is that a internal problem?

It's just old. You'll need to drain the rad to change it out. I would flush the rad and change out the lower hose as well as put new clamps on. Very easy job.

your hose will blow this summer unless you replace it like right now. Usually the top radiator hose is the first to go. You might as well replace the bottom hose while you are in there anyway. Might as well spray the radiator with a hose to remove bugs and filth which could block air flow.

It's actually a need radiator I just couldn't afford to replace the hoses at the time but I stopped by Autozone. I will install it tomorrow. Thanks

Yea i stopped by autozone and got a hose. I normally spray the radiator down with a pressure washer when I go to wash my car. But I will be replacing the lower hose soon. Thanks for the advice
