Need length for AC Bypass Belt

I have been looking around this forum for any answer on how long my serpentine belt should be after being forced to remove my AC Compressor. I've seen that a 920 mm (about 37 inches) belt works, but on my car; that doesn't work at ALL. Its about 5 inches too short. Am I routing the belt wrong? I drive a 99 Maxima SE and was wondering what belt works for anybody who had this same problem. Thanks in advance

The 920mm belt is the size to eliminate the a/c compressor on the 4th and 5th gens.

Check out page 10 in this link on how to thread the belt"
