Power steering reeservoir hoses leaking?

Is this common. Car was in for service and mechanic said that the power steering hose was weeping", common he said. I had a list of things to fix, they did not put that high on the list.
I looked at it today, car has 165000 miles on it, I have never added fluid, level was about 1/4 inch low, cold.
I added fluid.
I assumed the high pressure hose was leaking but 2 of the 3 low-pressure reservoir hoses were damp/dark, and I was able to tighten a lot the ring clamps on the reservoir end of two of the hoses.
Is this common?

Yes it is common. Mine is currently doing the same thing and that whole side of the engine bay is just mucky. The level on my reservoir hasn't gone down much. I'm planning on having my hoses replaced for free along with my belts after summer

You might try tightening the hose clamps a bit. My hoses seep some too. As long as they don't drip too much, don't worry about it.
